New Online Support Group for Parents of People Living with Mood Disorders
Are you the parent of someone who lives with a mood disorder?
Supporting your loved one can be an important part of his or her
recovery, but it’s also important to get support for yourself, too.
DBSA offers an online support group for parents of people living with
mood disorders. This support group is peer-led, meaning facilitators
have experience helping loved ones manage depression or bipolar
disorder and understand the unique experience of parenting someone
living with a mood disorder. It’s convenient, too: just log-on from any
computer with an internet connection.
The group meets 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 8:00pm (eastern).
